Author Biography
Allen Orchard is a highly accomplished Automotive Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the design and development of high performance vehicles.
His expertise encompasses a wide range of disciplines including component and platform design, systems engineering, project management, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
He has worked on numerous supercars, motorsport and automotive projects, from initial concept to final production, gaining extensive hands on experience in all aspects of the development lifecycle.
His previous experience includes; Designer then Director at EE sport for GM GT2 program, Engineering manager at JRM Group for GT1 NISMO program, Designer at Mercedes AMG High Performance Engines (F1 and SLS E-Cell programs) , Designer at McLaren Racing, Designer then Chassis Director at Rivian Automotive. He holds various qualification in Engineering, CAE and Robotics in Australia and is passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with aspiring engineers and supercar enthusiasts, aiming to demystify the complex process of bringing high performance vehicles to life.
